Austin Nestler was hired to teach private saxophone lessons for The Colony High School in the Fall of 2017. In addition to teaching his students, Mr. Nestler is currently an undergraduate student at the University of North Texas studying as a Music Education Major. During his time there, he played in the Concert Band and Symphonic Band and studied saxophone under the direction of Dr. Eric Nestler. Mr. Nestler has also served extensively with the Green Brigade marching band by being a Section Leader, Field Tech, and the Student Assistant to the Director under Dr. Nicholas Williams. Outside of teaching, studying for classes, and practicing, Austin loves to study music, sleep in late, and watch football on the weekends!
