Welcome to the official release of CatDV 14. Download the appropriate version of CatDV for your platform and follow the instructions in the Read Me files. These downloads are the real application and depend on a registration code to function; without a registration, CatDV will operate as a free time-and feature-limited demo. Codes are issued on-line once you purchase a license. Please contact us if you require a fully functional time-limited evaluation license for a more thorough test prior to purchase. To use the latest version of CatDV you will normally require a license purchased within the past three months or be under a current software maintenance agreement. Details on how to add enhanced support for PDF files making them viewable on CatDV desktop can be found here.
If you are running Catalina, details on how to install CatDV products can be found here. If you are running Big Sur or above, you will need to install the desktop client versions 13.0.14 onwards.
The CatDV Worker Node, is available to registered users only. As a prerequisite to installing Worker 9 for Linux, you will need to ensure that library is installed. A quick google search will point you in the direction of where you can download it. Please contact us if you require further information or would like an evaluation copy. Please note that for users without a current maintenance support contract, Worker 8 is a paid upgrade and you will need a new license code to activate it. Details on how to add enhanced support for PDF files making them viewable in CatDV desktop can be found here. Details on how to install CatDV products if you are using OSX Catalina can be found here.
SAMLAllows CatDV to integrate with your Single Sign-on Provider allowing SSO for CatDV Desktop and Web client. We currently support Okta and Shibboleth, and we can work with you to add new providers to suit your organisation.
Welcome to the CatDV Worker Plugins page. These downloads are available to registered users only and require CatDV Worker 7.0.0 as a minimum. Please contact email@example.com if you require further information or would like an evaluation copy. Please note that these downloads depend on a registration code to function in normal operation, except the CatDV Backup plugin which is free of charge and does not require a license, details of how to install and configure this can be found on our documentation site.
Go to Dropbox web - You can split the data in few separate folders (so that in case a download fails during long downloads, you don't have to start from the beginning). Then you can download folders one by one.
Or do as the product intended and download and install Dropbox on your device and let it all download in one go without any human input at all. Remember that the whole point of Dropbox by design is to use it via the software from www.dropbox.com/downloading. The website is only intended to be used when people do not have access to their computers
This will not work. In my experience over the years using Dropbox on different platforms, the clients are not reliable enough to do this with large amounts of data. Things will be missing or corrupted. In normal use cases this is probably fine, because the client can make you wait while it retrieves another copy.
Save the file on your PC in the default download location. After Internet Explorer runs a security scan and finishes downloading the file, you can choose to open the file, the folder it's stored in, or view it in Download Manager.
Download Manager keeps track of pictures, documents, and other files you download from the web. Files you've downloaded are automatically saved in the Downloads folder. This folder is usually located on the drive where Windows is installed (for example, C:\\users\\your name\\downloads). You can always move downloads from the Downloads folder to other places on your PC.
To view files you've downloaded while using Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer, select the Tools button, and then select View downloads. You'll be able to see what you've downloaded from the web, where these items are stored on your PC, and choose actions to take on your downloads.
When you download a file, Internet Explorer checks for clues that the download is malicious or potentially harmful to your PC. If Internet Explorer identifies a download as suspicious, you'll be notified so you can decide whether or not to save, run, or open the file. Not all files you're warned about are malicious, but it's important to make sure you trust the site you're downloading from, and that you really want to download the file.
If you see a security warning that tells you the publisher of this program couldn't be verified, this means that Internet Explorer doesn't recognize the site or organization asking you to download the file. Make sure you recognize and trust the publisher before you save or open the download.
If the file has a digital signature, make sure that the signature is valid and the file is from a trusted location. To see the digital signature, select the publisher link in the security warning dialog box that opens when you first download the file.
To download a GitHub repository, you must first start by navigating to the repository in GitHub. If you know the name of the repository, you can enter the name in the search bar on the left of the top nav at the very top of your GitHub user interface.
Once you have your desired repository open, click the small arrow on the green Code button at the top right of the repo contents. From here, select Download Zip. This will download the entire GitHub repository as a zipped folder.
Conversely, if you only want a few individual files from a repository, the easiest way to download them from GitHub is to follow the process outlines in the section above and download each file individually.
To download a folder from GitHub, navigate to your desired repository, select the folder you want to download from GitHub, copy the URL, navigate to -directory.github.io/ and paste the URL into the text box, and hit enter.
The ALM Client Launcher installer, instead, offers a more complete user experience that is comparable to the way of accessing ALM through Internet Explorer. This could significantly mitigate the impact of IE decommissioning to deliver ALM in your organization. The installer for ALM Client Launcher simplifies the process of distributing it to all end-user client computers using a software distribution product or via Windows Server Group Policy.
Both the portable and installer versions of the ALM client launcher do not need administrative privileges to execute or install. Additionally, the Client Launcher installer includes an option \"install for all users,\" which requires admin rights.
